Boxcar planned and executed the official groundbreaking celebration for Hotel Distil, the first Autograph Collection Marriott in Kentucky, with a memorable press conference at the historic facades on Whiskey Row.
This set the tone for celebrations to come – including the grand opening party that took place on Prohibition Day - December 5th, 2019. Both celebrations included a variety of elements to compliment the unique boutique brand – a bourbon toast, live entertainment, roaring 50’s theme, and much more.
Boxcar hit a home run with securing 58 media stories in 24 hours and over 30 media stories on opening day!
