Geoffrey (Geoff) Dunn brings years of private and public sector leadership experience to his role as the Ambassador at Boxcar and The Advocacy Group. He leads Boxcar’s Lexington office.
Geoff most recently served as Director of Boards and Commissions and was Senior Advisor to Governor Steve Beshear. In these capacities, Geoff was responsible for oversight of the appointment process of thousands of gubernatorial appointees to hundreds of public boards.
Prior to his service as a member of the Governor’s staff, Dunn built his company—Thoroughbred Wireless and Off The Hook—into one of Kentucky’s largest wireless dealers with 10 stores and dozens of employees representing AT&T and Cricket over the years.
A born-and-bred Lexingtonian, Geoff graduated from Sayre School before attending the University of Mississippi. At Ole Miss, he earned the varsity letter “M” for his service as the manager for the Rebels basketball team.
Committed to the principles of family, faith and community, Geoff and his wife Kristy are the parents of four daughters, Caroline, Mary-Walker, Tatum and Hadley. He is active with Lexington Christian Academy, The Hope Center and First Presbyterian Church.
